Requirements:
· The qualified individual will be able to plan, organize and formulate programs for CNC vertical machining centers using Mastercam-2018 version
· Experience operating Heidenhain iTNC 530 control panel
· Criminal Record Check upon hire – Paid by employer
Qualifications:
· 3 years experience using Mastercam – 2018 Version
· AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Preferred)
Hours:
· Monday to Friday – 8:30am-4:30pm – Overtime as required
Wage:
· $28-$38 per hour
· Benefits after completion or probationary period
Main Duties:
· Design plant layouts and production facilities
· Develop applications using CAD/CAM (computer-assisted drafting, computer-assisted manufacturing) for the control of robots, computer numerical control (CNC) machines and other manufacturing processes and operations
· Develop sequences, tooling arrangements and settings, speeds and feeds in accordance with materials to be machined, type of machine and capacities
· Performs new set-ups on a variety of CNC vertical milling centers equipment (DMG Vertical milling machines) using an advanced level of tooling
· Observe machine prove-out to check accuracy of the program
· Capable of building complex tooling and fixtures as necessary to support machining requirements
· Understands and meets or exceeds production and quality standards; seeks to minimize reject rate
· Assist with the analysis of processes with the objective of reducing the cost of manufacturing without impairment of product quality and reliability
· Maintaining tools in a peak condition. Safe operation at all times. Keeps machines and work area clean and notifies supervisor or maintenance when machine abnormalities occur
