Renovation Carpenter
DC Recruiting is searching for a Renovation Carpenter in Caledonia, Ontario. Work is centered around interior renovations and some outdoor work such framing new structures such as decks and pergolas.
Main Duties:

Read and accurately interpret plans/drawings/blueprints and organize materials accordingly.

Carpentry duties to include; Demolition & rebuilds, framing, load bearing wall removals, support beams, window and door installation, HVAC preparation, trim work, drywall, trim, finishes.

Hands on; measure, cut, assemble, and join mouldings, woodwork, install drywall, fit and install hardware, build walls, install vanities, storage units etc.

Outside duties including building decks, pergolas and other outdoor structures.

Skillfully and safely operate hand & power tools.

Material and Tool Management; Maintain supply lists; ensure tools are available, maintained and in good working order.

Basic pluming and electrical knowledge.

Pick up and deliver required materials to job sites ongoing.
Employment Requirements:

Completion of an apprenticeship program and/or 3-5 years of experience with residential renovations.
